Field Leader course -Overnight

This certification is designed to help successful candidates be able to plan a safe backcountry overnight event following the event cycle learned previously in the required pre-requisite.
Participants in this certification will be required to provide their own gear and food. A gear list will be provided shortly after registration.
There is some travel by car, to the trailhead, and participants are responsible for their own transportation to the course. Participants must attend the full 2 day -day course in order to receive certification.
**Prerequisite – OCC Field Leader Hiking
**THIS COURSE WILL HAVE A ZOOM PORTION PRIOR TO A 2 DAY EVENT IN THE BACKCOUNTRY. This will be scheduled the week before we go.
