Edward “Fin” Finigan

Director for the Atlantic region (NB, NS, PEI, NFLD)

Edward Finigan, known to most as Fin, is a lover of outdoor pursuits and adventure hailing from Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral home of the Mi’kmaq people. Coming into the world of camping and kayaking later in life, he is passionate about being able to share his experiences and skills with people from all walks of life to welcome them home to the outdoors. He has worked professionally as a Sea Kayak Guide on the South Shore of Nova Scotia for close to a decade.

Fin is also educated in Natural Resources and Conservation, being able not only to bring families out into the outdoors but also to demonstrate the ecological values of the land. Currently working as a Nature Interpreter, he has a proven track record of weaving Ecology and Natural Science in an experiential learning space for both adults and children and is driven to not just bring people safely onto a landscape but to foster a life-long connection with our planet and the life it sustains.
