The course combines classroom theory\, practical field application\, and competency assessments to support certification in Paddling Leadership\, Overnight Leadership\, and Maps & Navigation. \nUSE LINK FOR MORE DETAILED COURSE INFORMATION \nPrerequisites\n\n\nCompletion of the Outdoor Council of Canada (OCC) Hiking Field Leader certification \n\n\nActive OCC membership in good standing \n\n\n\nRegistration\, Materials & Community Pathway\nCourse materials\, manuals\, a detailed schedule\, and gear list will be emailed two weeks prior to the start date. \nParticipants who require clarification\, equipment coordination\, or accommodation support are encouraged to contact the instructor after registration to ensure a positive and well-prepared learning experience. \nUpon successful completion of the program\, students will be invited to join KOLA’s Community of Practice\, supporting mentorship\, leadership development\, and progression toward Terrain 2 and higher leadership qualifications.
