OCC Field Leader Course (Hiking + Winter)

Join outdoor education director and wildlife biologist Ryan Lamoureux for this Outdoor Council of Canada Field Leader certification course combining both the hiking and winter leadership modules.
The Fair Havens Outdoor Classroom is located just east of Lake Simcoe along the Trent Severn river (1.5hrs from Toronto). The 130 acres of natural spaces are ideal for teaching environmental education to schools & hosting training courses for outdoor professionals! The trails right on-site offer opportunities to practice hiking + winter leadership group management scenarios.
Fair Havens is also a Retreat/Conference Centre with cabins ($24/night) + meals available during the course for participants traveling from further away or anyone preferring to stay on-site. For questions or to register contact rlamoureux@fairhavens.org
