Field Leader Course (Winter)

The Field Leader – Winter Leadership module will be held on Sunday, March 5 in Scotsburn. A prerequisite for taking this module is the Field Leader – Hiking certification. This nationally recognized module will train participants to lead in low-risk winter environments as defined by the Outdoor Council of Canada (OCC). The cost is $85 (plus 15% off for paid Hike NS members). It is delivered by an OCC-certified instructor and offered through Hike NS in partnership with the OCC and supported by the NS Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage.
